Let’s talk inspiration and legacy…
So I’ve watched the Jordan series twice now.
It’s brilliant
It’s inspirational
A man who was clearly the best in his sport and one of the greatest sportsmen of all time.
His mindset was also somewhat unparalleled.
NOW… people are trying to compare Jordan and dispute that he was the best?
Dive a bit deeper and look at the stats and the effect Jordan had on his team winning. You’ll find that not only did Jordan have the best stats over a greater period of time, not only did he boost his teams ability to perform better but the people you want to compare him to name Jordan as the person who inspired them to be who they are.
He not only inspired the greats of his sport but inspired other sportsmen, including myself and I was a soccer player. I loved his tenacity, his dominance and his never say die attitude to training and playing until the last second.
Jordan elevated himself past just basketball.
What’s your craft?
What do you love doing?
Harness that love you have for it and ask yourself everyday, what sort of legacy do I want to leave behind?
Make sure you remember what Jordan lived by, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”.
That goes for everything!
If it matters to you then it matters that you do something about it.
